GLACIATION project will revolutionize data sharing and shape the future of data management. The project is funded by European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme.
We created an animated explainer that distills complex concepts into simple, visual storytelling. The Lisbon Council actively uses the video to train workshop participants and attract stakeholders at international conferences.
Challenge
The EU-funded GLACIATION project needed to communicate its complex mission and impact in a clear, engaging way that would resonate with international stakeholders at conferences and workshops.
Approach
Discovery & Strategy
We conducted extensive discovery sessions to understand the project’s mission and identify key challenges in communicating its value proposition. This collaborative process informed both our script development and creative direction.
Creative Development
Leveraging our expertise in audiovisual production for international organizations, we developed:
- Custom character design
- Background artwork
- Complete animation style
- Comprehensive storyboard aligned with project branding and strategy
Production
Our illustrator created storyboard sketches for each scene, allowing the client to visualize the final product before animation began. We incorporated client feedback through two revision rounds during post-production to ensure the final deliverable matched their vision.

Impact
