Communicating Impact for EU Cultural Project
Communicating 5 years of worldwide cultural impact through interactive digital publications, video, and print.
Overview
Cultural Relations Platform is an EU-funded initiative working across regions to support international cultural relations. The project brings together cultural practitioners for exchange and collaboration, produces research, builds networks and partnerships, and provides expertise to EU institutions. Its work also includes capacity building activities, events, and programmes such as the Global Cultural Relations Programme.
The challenge:
Cultural Relations Platform needed to translate five years of research and programme activity into clear digital and print materials that communicate impact to partners, beneficiaries, and EU institutions.
Digital Approach:
We produced 3 videos: a global corporate communication video with a shorter social media version using existing footage, and a separate video focused on the Global Cultural Relations Programme editions.
Digital publications were designed as interactive standalone files within a shared system. An overview interactive PDF unified all publications into a single access point, making them easier to share across platforms with upload limits. Navigation was supported through menus, maps, and links that allowed users to move through content.

From digital to print:
For print formats, we adapted the interactive logic of the digital materials into a physical format. QR codes were integrated throughout the photo album and research publications, allowing readers to access additional content directly from the printed pages. The design system was built to work across both digital and print from the start, allowing layouts and visual elements to adapt easily between formats while keeping branding consistent across all materials.
